I call it the "Ragtag Revolution" because it will be poorly organized, unfunded, and essentially leaderless for decades. But it is coming! Far too many American people have been hypnotized into believing an idealist, of the wrong political persuasion, has appeared on the scene to save us. It won't happen, and when the smoke clears, this nation will have been changed forever.
When enough people become aware of the "great delusion" promoted by the liberal left, and they realize they have been duped into setting the stage for anarchy in this country, it will be too late to halt the trend by traditional means. It will require a Constitutional Convention to restore our form of Government.
Our foundations have been shattered by the onslaught of Socialist organizers, greedy opportunists, and unscrupulous politicians. The proposed additional "bailout billions" will be no more effective in rebuilding our economy than the initial stimulus handouts were. Small businesses have been abandoned in favor of those "too big to fail."
The great numbers of people who live in this country on the compelled generosity of others, the "welfare society," plus the unconscionable thieves who rob the honest, hard working citizens of the fruits of their labors, are also part of the problem. Many have been led to believe they are somehow entitled to share the fruits of others. The idea to redistribute wealth by taking from those who have, and giving to those who have not, is quite appealing to the "have nots."
This Republic was not organized to benefit the lame and lazy. It was organized to benefit a robust and industrious society of "doers" and makers of things. It was organized to thrive on the labors of innovators, inventors, and entrepreneurs. The concept of "rugged individualism" meant "honor" and self responsibility in the pursuit of happiness. What the Founding Fathers set out to achieve has been largely lost on modern America. It will take a "Ragtag Revolution" to bring it back.
The ruination of our system has been fostered by unscrupulous and greedy "money barons" who crave only the power and means to protect themselves. They care not for the liberty of others, the honor of independence, or for the propagation of freedom and justice in their native land. Only in their demise will we be free of them. They have distorted the Capitalist system which brought this country to greatness.
The road to ruin is well traveled, by the empires that lived before ours. The road to recovery is difficult, at best, and possibly impossible at its worst. The economic chaos of the next few years will only be overcome by a ragtag revolution, starting with Small Business survival.
